Boat floated off Harbor Island

By Lydia Gregoret

On Saturday evening, September 26, the pleasure/fishing boat Locked & Loaded washed ashore on Harbor Island when its mooring anchor line failed in Sebasco Harbor. The vessel suffered hull damage along its centerline and to the propellers.

On Tuesday, September 29, crews from two salvage companies, Determination Marine and Sea Tow, assembled float bladders under the hull. A powerful tow boat from Determination Marine pulled the Locked & Loaded off the rocks just before high tide, with flotation bladders inflated.
